Ron McNutt
Ron McNutt is an attorney and a chaplain in Nashville. He stewards the Litigation and Advocacy Committee of the Psychedelic Bar Association and helps administer the Nashville Psychedelic Society. He practiced law in state government and in private civil rights practice in a minority-owned law firm. Ron writes about religious experience, legal protection, and the cultural origins of plant and fungal medicines and psychedelic religions. Ron completed a chaplain residency with the Veterans Affairs hospital in Nashville and will complete a clinical fellowship in September. Ron is a ruling elder and pulpit supply minister with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
Frederica Helmiere
Frederica Helmiere brings deep expertise in practitioner education, spiritual literacy, and ethical containment to the Ligare board. She holds a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School and served as Director of Psychedelic Practitioner Training at The Synthesis Institute, where she led the design and stewardship of one of the field's most rigorous training programs. She currently serves on the Ethics Committee of Gather Well Psychedelics. Frederica works at the intersection of adult learning, program design, and institutional integrity — helping psychedelic organizations build the structures that allow transformational work to happen responsibly and at scale.

Nicholas Collura
Nicholas Collura, DMin, is a board-certified chaplain, spiritual director, and educator who directs an ethics program at MIT dedicated to challenging uncritical narratives of technological progress. Previously, he spent several years as a palliative care chaplain and hospice spiritual care director; industry conversations about psychedelic chaplaincy inspired him to learn more through a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies. A committed Catholic, he is interested in harm reduction, comparative mysticism (particularly around Christian eco-spirituality and Upper Amazonian plant medicine), and the many theological, ethical, and pastoral questions that arise where Christianity and psychedelic cultures encounter one another.
Kalin Brionez
Kalin Brionez serves as Treasurer for Ligare, bringing a strong background in financial management and bookkeeping for small businesses and nonprofits. As the founder of a boutique bookkeeping firm, she specializes in helping organizations build clarity, sustainability, and confidence in their financial systems. Kalin is passionate about supporting mission-driven work and ensuring financial stewardship aligns with organizational values. Her approach combines technical expertise with a thoughtful, service-oriented mindset. Outside of her professional work, she is dedicated to personal growth, wellness, and creating meaningful impact within her community.
Bee Morehead
Bee Morehead has been Director of Texas Impact since 2000, equipping religious leaders and congregations to live out their faith in the public square and to move from charity to justice. She manages every aspect of the organization’s work and answers to a 45-member board of directors. Under Bee’s leadership, Texas Impact has moved from fewer than 1,000 members to more than 20,000 members and earned recognition as a national leader in interfaith education and community leadership development. Bee has served as a senior fiscal policy analyst for a former Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. She was the chief architect of Family Pathfinders, a unique program linking Texas congregations and civic organizations with families on public assistance.
